Project Overview

This class focused on business model development, moving new venture ideas into implementation. Different methods were used to prototype ideas, such as TinkerCad, Thinglink, and Glide non-coding app platform.

We first brainstormed 99 potential ideas that would target a specific audience, from different categories of either being a physical product, augmented or virtual reality (AR/VR), and solutions that utilize a mobile app.

(1) Physical product

This project was focused on prototyping a smart spice machine using Tinkercad. To understand the type of consumer, a value proposition canvas was used to understand the user:

A part of this project was also making products more accessible, by brainstorming ways to to make products more accessible. A braille option was included as part of the prototype:

(2) Augmented or Virtual Reality (AR/VR)

This project was a VR game that would be used to learn new languages, as well as cultural aspects of a country. 360 photos were edited to include objects, and Thinglink 360 was used to create interactive aspects:
